Driving students to invest in their future.

The challenge

Project Iowa was working to promote its Youthworks program among high school students. They needed to reach students in a way that resonated — and that’s when the video idea came into play. Project Iowa needed help scripting, storyboarding, illustrating and animating. The end product needed to be smart, entertaining and informative, meeting their goal of increasing enrollment in the Youthworks 9-month internship training program.

Our approach

To reach high school juniors and move them to enroll in the Youthworks program, Project Iowa partnered with Anthologic to create a captivating, strategic video.

The solution

Anthologic incorporated fun and unique elements into the video to drive students to learn about the life-changing program and eventually, enroll. There’s a bright color palette, a carefully chosen, whimsical music track, relatable visuals, custom sound effects that accent key moments and a consistent animated character who represents a Youthworks student. To top it off, the video creatively delivers Youthworks’ core information through both voiceover and on-screen text.

The outcome

The Project Iowa team was abuzz about the final product, thrilled to use it on their social media platforms and in their email marketing efforts. The video garnered high engagement and serves as a tool that Project Iowa can use throughout the academic year to recruit students into the Youthworks program.
