Origin stories aren’t just for superheroes. We’re all shaped by our circumstances, experiences and choices — they’re part of who we are. And as we get ready to celebrate a milestone anniversary at Anthologic, we’re pausing to reflect on the journey that brought us here and the path ahead.
Our story began 25 years ago when a small group of people came together to create something different. They shared a bold idea: Build an agency that puts people first, believing that genuine respect and work-life balance would naturally lead to exceptional client service and sustainable success. That’s how Performance Marketing was born.
In those early days, our founding partners rolled up their sleeves and did whatever it took to get the company up and running. As the business gained momentum, they sought out people who shared the same values and vision. Each new team member was chosen not just for their talents, but for their commitment to treating others with respect. That values-based approach paid off, as our agency continued to grow.
The proof was in the results. Our employee retention far surpassed what’s typical for our industry. Our client roster expanded, from the American Rental Association (ARA), Honeywell and Toro to Bedford, Delta Dental of Iowa and Stellar Industries. And those clients have stayed with us for years (some for decades), citing our consistent service and true partnership as key reasons for their loyalty.
We also added staff and competencies with sister companies, allowing us to develop deeper, more specialized experience in a range of marketing technologies that set us apart. And in our latest evolution, we consolidated those specialist teams under a single brand to serve our clients’ changing needs as one Anthologic.
The past 25 years have led us here, to the intersection of marketing and technology. That’s who Anthologic is and it has never been more true, as we continually evolve to stay ahead of the curve and deliver value for our clients.
Marketing is changing rapidly, but our original vision remains the same. That’s why initiatives like Antho Labs aren’t just about technology — they’re about empowering our people with the tools to serve our clients better. No matter what’s on the horizon, we will never lose sight of what’s most important: respecting the people who do the work and the people we work with.
